A body was found Monday afternoon on Pleasure Island, according to a news release from the Port Arthur Police Department.

At 2:18 p.m., policy responded to the 1000 block of North Levee Road, where the body was found. Investigators are treating the case as a suspicious death, and PAPD said no other information will be released at this time.
